This role plays a critical part in managing separation projects and ensuring smooth financial operations under a Transition Services Agreement (TSA).

The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to maintain financial integrity, ensure compliance with contractual obligations, and drive forecasting and month-end reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Separation Projects - Accounting & Controlling:

  • Review project charters and ensure alignment with accounting standards and reporting timelines.
  • Execute and monitor the client's standardized project controlling processes.
  • Support quality and timeliness of monthly financial reports.

Transition Services Agreement (TSA) Management:

  • Calculate and process monthly invoices in accordance with TSA terms.
  • Reconcile financial records including internal books, issued invoices, and incoming payments.
  • Track and process contractual changes (e.g. revised service scopes and associated charges).
  • Recharge non-IT business units when applicable.
  • Forecast future payments considering evolving contract terms.

General Accounting & Reporting:

  • Prepare journal entries as part of the monthly period close cycle.
  • Perform service fee reconciliations to ensure alignment between booked and contractual values.
  • Adhere to agreed monthly deliverables and schedules.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting, financial control, or project finance roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, accounting standards, and period-end close processes.
  • Proven experience working in complex corporate environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - ability to write memos, prepare slides, and present conclusions.
  • High work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong skills in SAP and/or other major ERP systems (preferred).
  • Prior experience supporting global clients in pharmaceutical or life sciences industries is a plus.
