Project Accountant

Working as part of a collaborative FP&A team, you will partner closely with senior stakeholders across finance, operations and commercial functions to deliver meaningful financial insight and support strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting strategic and operational projects across the business
• Delivering financial modelling, scenario analysis and investment appraisals
• Preparing business cases for new growth opportunities and capital investments
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities
• Monitoring project performance against budgets and forecasts
• Analysing profitability, margins, stock performance and operational KPIs
• Providing insightful variance analysis and commentary
• Supporting post-investment reviews and project evaluations
• Developing management reporting, dashboards and FP&A processes
• Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Supporting business transformation, integration and continuous improvement initiatives
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple business functions

What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this opportunity, you should have:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or be at finalist level)
• Previous experience within FP&A, Project Accounting, Commercial Finance, Management Accounting or Financial Analysis
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities
• Excellent commercial awareness and business partnering skills
• The ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
