The Role

Scale Factory is seeking an experienced, high-calibre Programme Test Manager to lead end-to-end quality assurance and testing governance.

The programme is a strategic multi-system transformation. This project establishes a common operating model across the UK and Switzerland covering Customer Relationship Management, Engagement Management, Risk Processes, and core business workflows.

As the Programme Test Manager, you will bring senior leadership and gravitas to direct complex testing streams across a multi-platform ecosystem-including CRM, SAP S/4HANA, AIS, MDM, and Legacy systems-alongside comprehensive data migration and user onboarding activities.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Test Leadership & Strategy

• Overall Test Governance : Define, implement, and maintain the overarching Test Strategy and framework across all phases of the programme in alignment with testing standards and quality gates.

• Multi-Workstream Direction : Provide end-to-end leadership across all testing phases: System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression, End-to-End (E2E), Non-Functional Testing (NFT/OAT), and Data Migration Testing.

• Quality Gates & Release Management : Establish clear entry/exit criteria for quality gates, ensuring robust readiness before migrating between test environments and into production.

Delivery Assurance & Stakeholder Management

• Executive Reporting : Deliver clear, transparent test progress reports, defect metrics, and risk assessments to senior leadership, project managers, and executive steering committees.

• Risk & Defect Management : Oversee the end-to-end defect management process, driving resolution of critical blockers, dependencies, and delivery risks across teams.

• Vendor & Supplier Oversight : Direct and coordinate third-party suppliers, systems integrators, and internal delivery teams to ensure delivery aligned with quality standards.

System Integration & Migration Oversight

• Direct complex integration testing spanning enterprise CRM, SAP S/4HANA, Master Data Management (MDM), AIS, and Swiss Legacy systems.

• Validate data migration strategies, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance throughout extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) cycles.

• Ensure robust testing coverage in a highly regulated, audit-focused corporate environment.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Proven Track Record : Demonstrable experience operating as a Programme Test Manager on complex, large-scale enterprise transformation programmes.

• Multi-Workstream Leadership : Deep hands-on experience managing SIT, UAT, E2E, Regression, Data Migration, and NFT/OAT across hybrid delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).

• Enterprise Platform Experience : Strong experience testing enterprise CRM solutions, ERP platforms (ideally SAP S/4HANA), MDM solutions, and complex API/system integrations.

• Data Migration Expertise : Hands-on experience driving validation and testing for large-scale data migration activities.

• Senior Stakeholder Management : Excellent communication skills with the gravitas to influence, negotiate, and report effectively to senior business and technical executives.

• Regulated Environments : Prior experience working within highly regulated, compliance-driven, or audit-focused environments (eg, Big Four, Professional Services, or Financial Services).
