Salary: Circa £37,693 - £40,676 - depending on skills and experience, plus standby and overtime payments

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time, 37 hours per week

About the Role:

Join Anglian Water as a Misuse Technical Lead (Programme Support Engineer), focusing on behavioural change related to misuse across Water Recycling. You will support our programme to protect and restore the environment, contributing to a sustainable future and leaving a legacy for future generations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and coordinate misuse investigation activities across various locations, both planned and reactive.
  2. Support a culture of innovation, positive challenge, and support to reduce misuse events.
  3. Provide expert support to field teams on techniques and equipment for sewerage system investigations.
  4. Manage performance and safety standards, ensuring quality of service within expected timeframes.
  5. Work with the communications team to deliver customer behaviour change initiatives.
  6. Utilise systems to monitor, track, and analyse programme performance.
  7. Promote continuous improvement in Health & Safety standards.
Candidate Profile:
  • Ability to coach and support teams to prevent and manage misuse events.
  • Experience in leading field teams.
  • Understanding of Water or Water Recycling processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerBi and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, adaptable to various stakeholders.
  • Customer service skills with a professional, empathetic approach.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights, with occupational health checks as needed.
