Programme Officer

We're recruiting for a Programme Officer to join a high-profile, programme in Belfast. It's a 12-month temporary role with hybrid working. You'll help keep the programme compliant, well governed and running smoothly, working with a range of teams and delivery partners.

What you'll be doing

• Checking it's done right: carrying out compliance reviews, testing controls and sampling files and claims to make sure processes are followed consistently.
• Supporting delivery partners: acting as a trusted point of assurance for teams and partner organisations, spotting issues early and suggesting practical fixes.
• Managing risk: helping to maintain risk registers, supporting sensible anti-fraud controls and following up on any irregularities.
• Making life easier: simplifying processes and cutting unnecessary admin without weakening the controls, plus creating guidance and training for colleagues.
• Communicating clearly: writing management reports and briefings, and supporting responses to formal information requests.

What we're looking forYou'll have either:

• a relevant degree and 2+ years' experience, or
• 4+ years' relevant experience without a degree

Your background could be in compliance, governance, risk management, or programme management, quality assurance, or regulatory work. You'll be a confident communicator who can work with a wide range of stakeholders and turn findings into clear, practical recommendations.
