About the RoleWe are seeking an Energy Efficiency & Decarbonisation Programme Manager to support the delivery of energy efficiency and decarbonisation programmes for businesses and industry across Ireland.
This role offers an opportunity to combine energy expertise, programme management, grant administration, technical assessment and stakeholder engagement while contributing to Ireland's transition to a low-carbon economy.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the delivery of energy efficiency and decarbonisation programmes and grant schemes.
- Review commercial and industrial applications from an energy efficiency and decarbonisation perspective.
- Provide technical guidance and support to applicants, businesses and stakeholders.
- Support grant processing, programme reporting and performance monitoring.
- Develop training, guidance, webinars and educational resources.
- Analyse programme data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work with internal teams, suppliers, technical experts and external stakeholders.
- Support programme strategy and relevant national and EU energy policy initiatives.
- Represent the organisation at meetings, events and stakeholder engagements.
You will have:
- A Level 8 qualification in Engineering, Science, Business, Social Science or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years experience in energy, sustainability, business or a related field.
- Strong project or programme management experience.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
Experience in energy efficiency, decarbonisation, energy audits, commercial or industrial energy, sustainability, grant programmes or energy policy would be highly advantageous.
