Role: Infrastructure Program Manager

Duration: 31st December + possible extension

Location: Basel, Switzerland (3 days onsite in Basel, 2 days remote per week)

Job description:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies for infrastructure modernization initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and pharma industry standards
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with IT, operations, and business units to execute infrastructure upgrades and system migrations
• Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and dependencies; develop contingency plans and document lessons learned to ensure successful program delivery and continuous improvement
• Manage stakeholder communications and expectations through regular status updates, executive briefings, and drive change management initiatives to facilitate adoption of new infrastructure systems across the organization
• Monitor program performance against key metrics and KPIs; implement corrective actions to address deviations and optimize team productivity
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and IT governance frameworks throughout all modernization efforts
• Collaborate with vendors and external partners to evaluate solutions, manage contracts, and optimize costs

Requirements:

• 7 years experience leading large-scale IT Infrastructure Transformation Programs in global enterprise environments.
• Strong background in Data Center modernization, infrastructure standardization, and technology life cycle management.
• Experience delivering Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity, Backup, and Cyber Resilience initiatives.
• Knowledge of infrastructure technologies including networking, virtualization, cloud, storage, monitoring, and automation.
• Experience implementing solutions that improve security, scalability, operational efficiency, and service reliability.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, risk management, and infrastructure governance.
• Experience working with global stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional infrastructure teams.
• Background in regulated industries (Pharma, GxP).
• PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification.
