About the Role

The PSL will work in our Irish Funds and Investment Management team. The role is ideally suited to an experienced PSL or fee earner with a minimum of six years' PQE, combining strategic client engagement, practice development, operational knowledge management and legal support. You will be an integral member of the Funds practice group, working closely with practice group co heads and partners to support the group's practice and knowledge management needs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Developing, drafting and maintaining precedents, legal guides and practice notes
• Researching, monitoring and analysing legal and market developments and trends
• Preparing concise briefings for internal teams and external clients, including alerts and topical emails
• Coordinating internal and external training sessions on relevant legal and regulatory matters, and delivering training where appropriate
• Assisting with client development and marketing initiatives, including creating, producing and delivering thought leadership content, presentations, podcasts and webinars
• Participating in client meetings and events, providing technical and commercial support to enhance and develop relationships
• Reviewing and updating checklists, standardised and automated documents to ensure new joiners and transactional lawyers operate efficiently and consistently
• Liaising with lawyers to gather feedback, raise awareness and promote participation in knowledge management initiatives
• Promoting knowledge systems and platforms, and working with professional support teams to share knowledge uniformly across global teams

What You Bring

• Qualified lawyer with at least six years' experience at a recognised leading law firm with a funds focused background
• Experience working as a PSL is preferred but not essential
• Current experience with knowledge management technology and document automation systems would be an advantage
• Enthusiasm for developing knowledge systems, improving access and promoting awareness across global teams
• Responsiveness to the needs of fee earners
• Outstanding analytical, drafting and technical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A strong academic background
