Posted 12 days 7 hours ago by The MRJ Group
We're partnered with a scaling SaaS organisation on a mission to enhance quality across its cloud-first platform. With major investments in automation, Azure-based infrastructure, and .NET-driven development, they're now looking for a customer-facing Professional Services Consultant with strong experience in pre-sales and SaaS-based solution delivery.
Additional Details:- Location: UK-based (Remote with occasional travel)
- Salary: £75k - £85k + Annual Bonus (based on company performance)
- Notice Period: Ideally 1 month (3 months less preferred)
This is a strategic, client-facing position where you'll help customers identify, design, and implement solutions using a custom suite of applications. The role is very organic, due to an internal promotion, and you'll be stepping into a close-knit, collaborative team. As part of a growing Professional Services function, you'll work closely with prospects and clients, as well as internal stakeholders, to ensure a successful technical engagement from pre-sales through to implementation.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as a pre-sales consultant, engaging with prospects to understand business requirements and demonstrate the value of the brand's SaaS solutions.
- Deliver compelling, technically-focused product demos tailored to client needs.
- Guide clients through API integration options (note: no hands-on coding required).
- Support customers in identifying and designing solutions using existing APIs or assist in shaping requirements for new integrations.
- Collaborate with internal technical and product teams to ensure feasibility and alignment of proposed solutions.
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders to foster trust and support long-term partnerships.
- Work alongside the Professional Services Consultant team.
- Full training and shadowing provided during the first 6 weeks.
- You'll upskill in the brand's custom applications with no deep technical background needed, but strong application knowledge preferred.
- Training will also include learning relevant practices, processes, and legal considerations.
- Previous experience in a Professional Services or Pre-Sales Consultant role within a SaaS environment.
- Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with API integration principles - you know how APIs work and where they fit, even if you're not writing code.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and deliver tailored software solutions to meet client needs.
- Able to work autonomously and collaboratively across departments.
- Comfortable working across time zones and managing priorities across multiple regions.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a strategic, client-facing role at the heart of a fast-scaling SaaS company that's reshaping quality. If you're a tech-savvy consultant who thrives in pre-sales conversations, understands the SaaS delivery lifecycle, and enjoys solving real-world client challenges without deep hands-on coding, this role was built with you in mind.
