Profesor de tecnología IB MYP & TAC

SEK International School El Castillo is seeking to incorporate a Tecnology IB MYP & TAC Teacher for the end of August.

Mission:

Empowering students to become innovative thinkers, creative problem-solvers, and responsible digital citizens by engaging with technology as a tool for design, learning, and communication. The role supports both subject-specific learning through MYP Design and cross-curricular integration of technology (TAC) to enhance teaching and learning across the school.

Functions:

• Teach MYP Design (Technology) following IB curriculum standards.
• Integrate the design cycle and inquiry-based learning into lesson planning and student projects.
• Promote safe and ethical use of digital tools and resources.
• Support colleagues in embedding technology meaningfully across subjects (TAC).
• Participate in department and interdisciplinary planning meetings.
• Collaborate in the design and standardization of assessment tools.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the MYP Design and TAC programs.
• Remain updated on IB curriculum developments and best practices in educational technology.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Formal training in programming and digital design.
• Master's Degree in Secondary and Baccalaureate Education (or equivalent teaching qualification).
• 2 to 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in IB programmes.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
