Production Specialist - Security Ops

Production Specialist - Security Ops | $85-$95 p/hour, inside IR35 | UK (Fully remote) | 6 months (initially) | 4-day working week, worked on a rota basis - max 40 hours per week

We're looking for a Production Services Specialist to join a Security Services operations team as the technical go to person for business impacting network incidents.

This is a hands on role covering Proxy, Content Inspection, Firewall, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies. You'll need a solid grounding in networking protocols, troubleshooting methodology, and both proactive and reactive tooling.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing hands-on operational support across the Security Services environment, primarily SkyHigh Web Gateway (Proxy), Trellix DLP (FireEye), F5 SSLO, FortiGate Firewalls and Trend Micro IDS/IPS
• Supporting adjacent security related network infrastructure, including Load Balancing, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI), as a secondary responsibility
• Picking up ad-hoc reporting and offline incident work as directed by senior team members or leadership
• Documenting application flows, upstream/downstream impacts during outages, and customer experience in failure scenarios

What You'll Bring:

• Solid experience with network technologies: Proxy devices (SkyHigh), F5 load balancing (SSLO), Firewalls (Fortigate and Checkpoint), LAN, TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, and authentication
• A track record of troubleshooting complex networking issues
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Forward Networks and HPNA
• Experience working across time zones with colleagues globally, with flexibility around working hours where needed
