Job Title: Production Scheduling Planner

Location: Slough, Berkshire, United Kingdom

Salary: £36,700-£41,300 dependent on experience

Hours: 37.5 hours, Mon - Fri

Contract: Fixed term contract - 12 Months

Job Description:

Here at Mars, we have an exciting opportunity for a Production Scheduling Planner to join our team. The role involves managing stock levels, optimizing line utilization, ensuring consistent production performance, and fulfilling customer orders. This includes managing physical stock, conversions, and packaging elements.

What are we looking for?
  • Supply Chain experience in manufacturing, including inventory management or materials planning
  • Experience with performance metrics such as Volume Compliance, OTIF, etc.
  • Project Management experience
  • Knowledge of planning systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • SAP, Mapp, or other supply planning applications (desirable)
  • FMCG experience (desirable)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adequate stock levels for customer orders
  • Build and maintain customer relationships, solve inventory issues, and provide analytical data
  • Manage inventory reporting
  • Track KPI performance and identify improvements
