Production Operative

Working as a Production Operative in Telford, you will join a team based in Stafford Park, earning £12.71 per hour with a pay increase after twelve weeks. This full-time, temporary-to-permanent contract requires availability from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, with an immediate start. The position is physically demanding, involving heavy lifting and manual tasks such as unloading pallets, wrapping panels, and cutting steel components. Full training is provided for operating machinery. Additional duties include general warehouse upkeep and ensuring safe stock handling. Production Operative ASAP START TEMP TO PERM for the right candidate We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy team based in Stafford Park.

Pay: £12.71 per hour ( Pay increase after 12 weeks) Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 Start: ASAP Position: Temporary ongoing, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

• Unloading pallets and putting stock away
• Wrapping, stacking and storing panels
• Measuring, strapping and cutting steel parts
• Operating machinery - full training will be provided
• General warehouse and production duties
• Ensuring stock is handled and stored safely

• Be comfortable with heavy lifting and manual work
• Be able to use and read a tape measure (millimetres)
• Have a good attitude and willingness to learn
• Be reliable and punctual
• Be comfortable working as part of a busy team
• Forklift licence is desirable, but not essential
