The Role

Quest Employment is representing a busy and well-established client in Bicester that is looking for Production and Warehouse Operatives to join their growing team.

This is a hands on role within a food production and warehouse environment. Successful candidates will be reliable, physically fit, and comfortable working in a fast paced setting while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety.

Production Operative Duties Kitchen Area

• Preparing ingredients according to recipes and production requirements
• Measuring and weighing ingredients accurately
• Handling and lifting ingredient bags weighing up to 25kg
• Following written instructions and recipes
• Maintaining cleanliness and food hygiene standards
• Supporting the wider production team to meet daily targets

High-Risk Area

• Packing sauces, pickles, and other food products
• Labelling products accurately
• Carrying out quality checks
• Ensuring products meet customer and company standards
• Following food safety procedures at all times

Warehouse Operative Duties

• Handling, moving, and storing stock safely
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Picking and preparing products for dispatch
• Assisting with stock control and inventory checks
• Keeping warehouse areas clean, organised, and safe
• Following health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Good understanding of English, both written and spoken
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and production processes accurately
• Comfortable lifting and carrying loads of up to 25kg
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous food production or warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential

Working Environment

• Fast paced food production and warehouse environment
• Hi vis clothing is mandatory
• Manual handling involved throughout the role
• Full training provided

Shift Patterns

• Monday to Friday, 4:00pm - 1:00am
