Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, Dependant on Experience
Hours: Monday-Friday (40 hrs Per Week + Overtime)
Job OverviewRobinsons are looking to recruit a Production Operative based at our premises in Lockerbie. You will be an operative working in a busy production environment which specialises in the manufacturing of steel framed buildings. You will ideally have a skill set working with steel in an engineering environment, as part of a team.
Duties & Responsibilities- Measuring and marking our steelwork
- Drilling metal
- Using punching machine
- Using grinders/ Abrasive wheels
- Plasma Profile burning
- Duties include physical aspects of manual handling, such as medium lifting of flat bars etc
- Assisting with loading materials.
- Maintain a high standard of work under pressure
- Willing to learn new skills
- Willing to do overtime when required
- Basic numeracy & literacy
- Basic IT skills
- Knowledge working with metal in an engineering environment
