People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy client based in Dukinfield, SK16. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced industrial environment, offering consistent hours and the opportunity to secure long-term work.

Shifts

• Night Shift• Monday to Thursday: 18:30 - 06:30

Rates of Pay

• £12.81 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

This is a physically demanding and hands-on position within a production environment. Due to the nature of the manufacturing process, the role can be dirty and warm, so candidates must be comfortable working in an industrial setting.

• Operating and monitoring production machinery• Loading raw materials into machines• Removing finished products from production lines• Heavy lifting of materials and products (up to 25kg)• Trimming, inspecting, and quality checking finished goods• Bagging and milling products• Keeping work areas clean and safe at all times• Following strict health and safety procedures• Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Production Operative, you will need:

• To be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg regularly• Comfort working in a dirty and warm industrial environment• Excellent reliability and punctuality• A strong work ethic• Good communication skills• The ability to work 12-hour shifts consistently

Desirable Experience

• Previous production or manufacturing experience• Experience in heavy industrial or factory-based roles

Training Provided

• Full training provided• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
