We're currently recruiting for a Production Manager to join our Manufacturing team.

In this role, you willcoordinate the safe day to day operations and administrations of a manufacturing area to meet quality, customer demand and cost targets and to deputise for the Head of Manufacturing as required, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.

Your responsibilities in this role would be:

• Taking accountability for the successful operation of designated manufacturing areas, including adherence to schedule and quality output.
• Ensuring designated areas compliance with Quality, Safety and Environmental systems and procedures.
• Creating a positive team dynamic and enable team strong performance and development.
• Implementing agreed manufacturing Key Performance Indicators.
• Developing external client relationships within Pharma/Biotech industry.
• Co-ordinating projects and customer needs for manufacturing.
• Deputising for the Head of Manufacturing during absences.
• Taking accountability for bringing together all support functions in order to keep the area moving forward.
• Perform as the Subject Matter Expert for GMP audits.

We are looking for:

• Degree in a science related subject and/or experience of working to GMP standard.
• Strong knowledge of GMP manufacturing and pharmaceutical quality systems.
• Competent at using data to drive decision making and evaluating safety and quality risk.
• Previous facility and people management experience.
