Production Coordinator

Spotify Studios is looking for a Production Coordinator to join the team in London. The ideal candidate is a driven professional who will edit video podcasts and contribute to the production of Spotify's owned, licensed, and partner shows, including The Ringer portfolio. The coordinator will work directly with the studio team's production manager to coordinate in-studio sessions with hosts and show teams, manage the bookings calendar, and support both audio and video podcast episodes. While the focus is on in-studio production, the role also involves supporting remote and on-location productions as needed. The candidate must possess strong multi-tasking skills, enthusiasm for podcasts, and solid production experience. A general knowledge of and affinity for sports and popular culture podcasts is preferred. The right candidate is strategic, collaborative, and eager to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Handle the studio calendars to facilitate a high volume of in-studio bookings
- Coordinate with podcast producers, partner managers, and production teams to ensure smooth recording sessions and studio experiences
- Procure gear and supplies for studios as needed
- Assist with editing audio and video podcasts, including audio mixing, editing, and basic graphics implementation
- Provide technical support to Spotify hosts and partners, troubleshoot studio productions, and resolve issues for field and remote shoots
- Maintain studio spaces to meet talent's needs and industry standards
- Implement technical improvements as needed
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective communication and operations
Who You Are
- 4+ years of experience in digital video production, including video podcasts and content for platforms such as YouTube and Twitch
- Ability to work from Spotify's London office up to five days per week
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere and the Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with the entire podcast production process
- Experience working directly with high-profile talent and guests
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Sound judgment in evaluating content
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
Where You'll Be
- This role is based in Spotify's London office and requires working five days a week in the office
