Medical Sales Specialist - Hospital Equipment & Consumables

• €50,000 - €70,000 base (experienced sales) €45,000 - €55,000 (clinical transition)

THE COMPANY

Our client is a well established and highly regarded supplier of medical equipment and consumables with a strong presence across the Irish hospital market. With high staff retention, a supportive leadership team and a reputation built on quality products and excellent customer relationships, they are now expanding their Irish commercial team with the addition of a Medical Sales Specialist covering North Leinster and the Midlands.

THE ROLE

This is a field based sales role combining account management of existing hospital accounts with targeted new business development across both public and private hospitals in your territory. You will sell a broad portfolio of medical consumables, capital equipment and devices, engaging with clinicians, procurement teams and senior hospital decision makers.

You will work closely with an experienced sales team and report directly to the Sales Director, with full training and ongoing support provided. This is a varied, relationship led role that rewards both commercial drive and clinical credibility in equal measure.

THE PERSON

We are open to two distinct candidate profiles for this role. Experienced medical sales professionals with a background selling consumables, capital equipment or medical devices into hospitals are strongly encouraged to apply. We will also consider nurses or clinical support professionals looking to make a well supported transition into a commercial role - full training will be provided.

Regardless of background, you must have hospital sales or clinical experience and be able to demonstrate strong relationship building skills, a motivated and target driven approach, and the ability to manage your own territory with confidence. A full, clean Irish driving licence is required.

THE PACKAGE

• Base Salary: €50,000 - €70,000 DOE (experienced sales professional)
• Base Salary: €45,000 - €55,000 DOE (clinical professional transitioning to sales)
• Uncapped bonus (10%)
