Job Description

Location: South Dublin (Hybrid - three days per week on-site)

Contract Type: Initial 6-18 Month Daily Rate Contract

We are seeking a talented and proactive Business Analyst / Product Owner to join a leading Financial services firm in South Dublin. In this role, you will take ownership of shaping, defining, and supporting the delivery of AI-enabled automation solutions across their full lifecycle-from initial feasibility assessment to production deployment and continuous improvement.

This is a daily rate contract for an experienced professional who wants to act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring AI agents and automated solutions remain aligned to clear business objectives and high-quality standards in a modern environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Discovery & Feasibility: Lead discovery activities with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-enabled automation, defining clear problem statements, measurable business objectives, and success criteria in partnership with architects and engineers.
  • Requirements & Backlog Management: Translate complex business requirements into clearly defined scope, acceptance criteria, and delivery objectives while maintaining and prioritizing delivery backlogs.
  • Solution Validation & AI Governance: Review and validate solution designs, agent instructions, system prompts, workflow definitions, and supporting artefacts to ensure alignment with business intent.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Lead stakeholder workshops, requirement discussions, demonstrations, and solution reviews across an Agile delivery environment.
Core Requirements
  • Experience: Strong professional background (5+ years) working as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or in a related role within technology delivery organisations.
  • Communication & Facilitation: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead workshops, discovery sessions, and communicate confidently with senior stakeholders.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to support decision-making and defining measurable KPIs and success outcomes.
  • SDLC & Agile: Thorough understanding of software development lifecycles within Agile delivery environments.
  • Quality Focus: A strong testing and quality assurance mindset with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
  • AI & GenAI Expertise: Experience working with AI agents, Generative AI, or related technologies, including reviewing or refining prompts and conversational workflows.
  • Platform Familiarity: Direct familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
  • Domain Experience: Good understanding of Financial Services, Corporate Finance, or other regulated business environments.
  • Technical Tools: Experience working with SQL, reporting platforms, business analytics tools, and Agile tooling such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Enterprise Background: Experience supporting enterprise software delivery within large, complex organisations.
