Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join the IT department of our client in the public insurance sector. The ideal candidate will bring deep, hands-on experience with IT infrastructure products, strong stakeholder management skills, and a solid foundation in Agile methodologies. As the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, you will guide the development and delivery of infrastructure solutions that support the organization's digital transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the voice of the customer and primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Own and manage the product backlog for a range of IT infrastructure products (e.g., servers, networks, cloud, endpoint, cybersecurity).
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap, aligned with business priorities and compliance requirements in the public sector.
- Prioritize backlog items based on business value, technical feasibility, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Agile teams, and Solution Architects to ensure delivery aligns with expectations.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to continuously improve product delivery.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on infrastructure capabilities and best practices.
- Ensure product compliance with security, regulatory, and public sector standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Fluency in Dutch, French, and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure (e.g., cloud services, on-prem environments, networks, storage, security).
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role within an Agile framework (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Solid understanding of public sector environments and constraints is an asset.
- Agile certifications (e.g., PSPO, CSPO, SAFe PO/PM) are highly preferred.
