Context of the Position:
The Product Owner will be the driving force behind the development and delivery of cutting-edge software solutions tailored to the automotive industry.
The main mission is to ensure that Nextlane's products not only meet but exceed the needs of automotive brands and dealerships. By bridging the gap between business requirements and technical execution, the Product Owner will play a pivotal role in shaping our product vision, optimizing processes, and delivering exceptional value to our clients.
Your Responsibilities:
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:
- Define Product Vision and Roadmap: Collaborate with stakeholders to establish the product vision and maintain a clear, actionable roadmap.
- Backlog Management: Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and client requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with automotive brands and dealerships to understand their needs and ensure solutions address real-world challenges.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with development, marketing, and sales teams to ensure product releases meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Feature Development: Translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories for the development team.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on automotive industry trends and competitors to maintain our competitive edge.
- Metrics Tracking: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
️ ️ What We're Looking For:
Languages: Fluent English (Interview will be conducted in English) French (nice to have).
Experience:
- 5+ years in a Product Owner or similar role.
- Background in software development or a related technical field.
- Proven track record of delivering successful software products in the automotive sector.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with CRM, DMS, or API-based products.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
- Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management platforms.
- Understanding of software development processes, including APIs and system integrations.
- Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles for effective product design.
- Experience in the automotive industry is highly desirable.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Leadership: Ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset to resolve complex challenges effectively.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Empathy: Understand user pain points to create impactful solutions.
- Decision-Making: Confidence to prioritize competing demands and make informed choices.
