Freelance: Digital Product Owner - Enterprise AI Chatbot

Global Enterprise Partners is supporting a major digital transformation initiative and is looking for an experienced Digital Product Owner to drive the strategy, evolution, and adoption an enterprise-grade AI chatbot powering secure, intelligent employee support across the organization.

This role sits at the intersection of AI, product strategy, user experience, and enterprise automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product roadmap, aligning the chatbot with business goals
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis in the enterprise AI landscape
  • Establish KPIs and track product performance, value, and user engagement
  • Improve conversational design and overall user experience
  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams on user journeys and interaction design
  • Work closely with AI/ML engineers to enhance NLP and agentic capabilities
  • Oversee integrations with HR, IT, Finance, and other internal systems
  • Manage knowledge base, data quality, and chatbot training
  • Present progress, roadmap updates, and ROI metrics to leadership and SteerCo
  • Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and cross-functional alignment
  • Monitor analytics, run experiments, and identify automation opportunities

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, preferably with AI/ML or enterprise digital products
  • Proven experience managing digital products from concept to launch
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools

Technical Skills

  • Understanding of conversational AI, NLP, and Agentic AI concepts
  • Familiarity with chatbot platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Foundry
  • Knowledge of modern LLMs (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini)
  • Basic proficiency with Python, React, APIs, and system integrations
  • Understanding of cloud environments such as Azure or AWS

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • User-centric mindset with high empathy for employee experience
  • Strong stakeholder management and change-management capabilities
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or relevant advanced degree
  • Experience implementing enterprise chatbots
  • Knowledge of HR or IT service management processes
  • Product management certifications
  • Experience with GDPR, SOX, and standard enterprise compliance frameworks
