Inflo is seeking a Product Manager (PM) to join the Workpapers Solutions department. This role reports to the Head of Working Papers Solutions (HoWS). The PM will leverage their direct experience in external audit and Inflo product knowledge to add value for all stakeholders, both external and internal.
The PM will understand current and future customer needs, advocate for them, and support complex product matters. They will help steer the vision and long-term direction of their product domain(s), scoping and designing product changes and gathering feedback. They will collaborate with all software and service delivery teams and with the wider business to ensure a well-informed product approach.
This role aims to enhance the user experience and quality of audit engagements using our software, and to maintain alignment with industry practices and workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Understand current and future requirements of customers, key prospects, and target firms through outbound and inbound activities, including:
- Reviewing suggestions, questions and tickets raised by users
- Seeking pre-release and post-release feedback
- Organising workshops and conducting experiments such as A/B testing
- Liaising with colleagues and other stakeholders
- Leveraging product usage data (SQL) for rich, customised insights
- Using discovery sessions with target customers
- Identify product challenges facing customers/prospects and any blockers to optimal product use
- Support on complex product matters, including 2nd line support on escalated tickets and triaging bugs to Product Owners
- Advocate for customer requirements and propose enhancements by designing wireframes aligned with regional standards and best practices
- Prepare and maintain release notes and product guidance with clear communication
- Own, analyse and monitor key usage metrics and take timely action to address issues (e.g., NPS, support tickets per engagements)
- Collaborate with the Audit Implementation Services (AIS) team to ensure accurate product functionality and usage materials
- Work with Marketing to assist with product knowledge, pricing, positioning, and marketing
- Contribute to whitepapers and webinars about product enhancements and representing Inflo at industry conferences
- Continuously evaluate and improve product team workflows to align with best practices
- Experience in external audit of financial statements with knowledge of auditing and accounting standards (GAAP, GAAS, PCAOB, Quality Management/Control)
- Strong communication skills; able to adapt and collaborate in an innovative team and relay detailed information to diverse audiences
- Critical thinker with data-driven decision-making
- Confidence to challenge and defend product approaches externally
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work cross-functionally
- ACA or equivalent certification, Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Desired - Product Manager/Product Owner qualification or equivalent; SaaS or web applications background; audit experience including client-facing portfolio management
