Job Description
Hello. We're Goji.

We provide market-leading platform technology to the alternative investment industry.

Access to private markets is increasing but 20th century technology cannot support or scale to meet these market demands and opportunities. Trillions of pounds of new inflows from institutional and individual investors are expected in the coming years, and the industry needs to adapt.

At Goji we are driving the transformation of the industry. From frictionless investor onboarding, to aggregating subscriptions and making any private fund accessible, we are solving the challenges that will unlock growth for all participants in our network.

Goji was acquired by Euroclear Group in 2022. Our shared vision is to enhance Euroclear's infrastructure with digitised private fund capabilities, creating a global network that seamlessly connects participants and catalyses their growth.

Our clients include asset managers who want to access and onboard more private fund investors, fund administrators who want to offer a private fund service that drives growth, and distributors who want low-friction access to private funds of their choice.

We are headquartered in the UK and FCA-regulated.

The Role

Goji is looking for a Product Manager to join our Product team. You'll be a self-starter. Keen to learn, try before asking (but never afraid to ask), enjoy a variety of tasks and working with all areas of the business and directly with customers (a lot of whom are some of the largest financial institutions).

We'd value someone with experience in the regulated financial services sector, ideally with an understanding of the end-to-end KYC and AML lifecycle for investors. Ultimately though, what's most critical is someone with a product mindset who can embrace the challenges our customers face and translate that regulatory complexity into simple, powerful solutions.

You'll be responsible for understanding stakeholder requests and deciding the best path for the collective customer. Translating into clear requirements, then working closely with your engineering squad through to the release of the change. You'll need to carefully balance scope to meet the immediate deadlines whilst also constantly driving us towards an ever-better product, always built on a solid footing, that excels in meeting customer needs.

How you'll contribute:

  • Plan and prioritise the product development roadmap for your squad.
  • Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they're clearly understood by relevant teams.
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritise stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy.
  • Mitigate roadblocks to support in achieving delivery goals.
  • Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions.

What you'll bring:

  • The ability to learn quickly. You will be expected to start leading on some product changes within 2 months of joining, which means getting up to speed quickly on our market sector and product.
  • At least 3 years experience as a product owner / manager, ideally within a finance setting.
  • The ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders.
  • The ability to set your own agenda, clearly communicate progress and status and escalate effectively. You will not be micro-managed.
  • A servant-leader mindset.
  • A growth mindset and a sense of humility - we can all learn from each other.
  • A keenness to seek out new ways of working and challenge convention.
  • Calmness and consideration under pressure.
How we work

As a company, we like to create an atmosphere where everyone can directly influence the way we work. Our values encourage curiosity, simplicity and honest communication:

  • Curiosity - We seek to deeply understand challenges from multiple perspectives
  • Innovation - We create pragmatic solutions that solve the challenges identified
  • Commitment - We commit with passion to a decision
  • Alignment - We understand our objectives and work together with the right tools to get things done
  • Discipline - We stay focused, take ownership and consistently deliver against expectations

We're proud to be able to offer a market-leading benefits package:

  • Competitive salary
  • Opt-in pension with 5% Goji contribution (3% minimum employee contribution)
  • 25 days of holiday, plus 1 day for each year of service, up to 30 days
  • Work from abroad allowance
  • Two paid Wellbeing Days each holiday year
  • One paid Volunteering Day per calendar year
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave
  • Private medical, including dental, optical and audiological from Vitality
  • Life insurance, critical illness cover and income protection
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Laptop delivered to your home
  • Allowances for additional work from home equipment
  • Supplementary support available for those with additional needs
  • Stylish London-based office

The successful candidate will need to complete background checks and provide references prior to their start date.
