BioFirst services both the horticultural market and the agricultural market through four brands: Biobest, BioWorks, Plants Products and Biotrop.

Biobest's data-driven monitoring & scouting business is developing and expanding rapidly. To further support our growth, we are looking for a Global Product Manager Monitoring & Scouting at our headquarters in Westerlo.

Your mission

Biobest's data-driven monitoring and scouting portfolio is growing rapidly. As the product specialist and the key point of contact for your product portfolio, you will inspire a diverse audience both internally and externally. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Market Development Manager High-tech.

Key responsibilities

• As a Global Product Manager, you are part of the Product management and high-tech team and oversee Biobest's scouting and monitoring portfolio, including high-tech products like Trap-Eye and PATS-C as well as sticky traps, roller traps and pheromones.
• With a deep understanding of both technical and user perspectives, you serve as the vital link between our customers and our engineering partners, ensuring our high-tech monitoring and scouting solutions meet practical needs effectively.
• You prepare comprehensive business plans for new product innovations and coordinate the innovation process through the Stage-Gate method.
• You support product launches in close collaboration with R&D, Operations, Sales and local teams in different countries.
• You develop marketing and launch plans in close cooperation with the local teams and coordinate their implementation to successfully bring new products to the market.
• You enthusiastically translate your product knowledge by providing training and education for our technical and commercial teams.
• You manage and build relationships with external partners.

Your profile

• You have a higher degree in a relevant technical field and a strong passion for sustainability and innovation.
• You have a strong passion for emerging technologies such as AI, data science, electronics, sensors, and software, and you're eager to apply this knowledge to real-world IoT applications.
• You have successfully launched a product and have at least 3 years of experience in product management, ideally in an international context, leading complex projects from start to finish.
• Your project management skills are complemented by strong analytical abilities, excellent communication (both verbal and written), and the capacity to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
• You are known for your customer-oriented and entrepreneurial approach and take pride in past projects where these qualities have led to success.
• Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in additional languages (French, Spanish or German) is an advantage.
• You are willing to travel regularly to meet the needs of this global role.
