Product Manager

char.gy is a leading charge point provider and operator for electric vehicles in the UK, managing over 3,600 public charge points. At char.gy we're on a mission to harness technology for good, driving both business impact and positive social change. Our small but dynamic team is growing, and we're looking for a Product Manager to help us shape our product strategy, drive execution, and make a tangible impact.

The Role

We're seeking a Product Manager who is both strategic and execution-focused, with the ability to take ownership of key product areas. You'll be expected to shape the product strategy, define priorities, and drive work from conception through to launch, while collaborating with cross-functional teams. In a fast-moving startup environment, your role may evolve and expand across various product areas, so we need someone who is adaptable and eager to take on new challenges as the business grows.

You'll have a significant impact on the direction of the product and the company and be given the autonomy to make decisions that will shape the future of our offerings.

What You'll Do

• Own & Shape Product Direction : Lead the product vision and roadmap across key areas of the business. Define the direction based on market insights, user feedback, and commercial goals.
• Collaborate Across Teams : Work closely with engineering, commercial, revenue, and implementation teams to align on product priorities, technical feasibility, and business impact. Foster strong communication and collaboration between teams to drive successful outcomes.
• Lead Product Execution : Drive the product lifecycle from concept to delivery, ensuring that product goals are met. Balance the needs of users, customers, and the business throughout the development process.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement : Confidently present product strategies, roadmaps, and progress to clients, stakeholders, and senior leadership. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support a Collaborative Culture : Embrace a hands-on, team-oriented approach to product management. Work as part of a close-knit team while also fostering autonomy and accountability in others.

• Product Management Experience : You have a strong track record in tech product companies, driving products from vision to market. Well-versed in modern product management practices, you know how to deliver impactful solutions and bring valuable insights from past experiences to navigate challenges and drive business success.
• Strategic Thinker : You have a strong ability to think strategically, understanding both user and business needs. You can navigate ambiguity and make decisions that balance market demand, technical feasibility, and commercial goals.
• Curiosity & Growth Mindset : You're naturally curious and eager to learn. You actively seek out new ways to improve, whether it's through market research, emerging technologies, or internal feedback. You are excited to help the business grow and thrive, constantly looking for opportunities to innovate and optimize.

You can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders but also take ownership of initiatives and lead them to completion with minimal oversight, making appropriate trade-offs and balancing pragmatism and quality. You are comfortable working closely with engineering teams to understand technical challenges and opportunities.
• Proactive & Impact-Driven : You are comfortable in an evolving environment, and you thrive on the challenge of creating clarity from uncertainty. You're excited by the chance to influence the direction of a growing company.
• Communication Skills : Strong ability to present complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, from clients to senior leadership.
