Product Manager - Travel

  • Annual Salary: £49,000+

My client is seeking a Product Manager to confidently own the delivery and execution of all products within designated destinations. This role involves protecting and developing a sustainable product pipeline to drive business growth, achieving business margins, and meeting passenger targets. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the contracts manager to drive products that deliver within business KPIs.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage the briefing of all new products to contract, managing expectations around deadlines and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain internal relationships with a jointly agreed vision and strategy.
  • Negotiate industry-leading rates and unique products with contracts and cruise teams.
  • Monitor competitors and seek strategic initiatives to drive incremental market share.
  • Ensure contracted products are operationally viable and provide an excellent customer journey.
  • Review customer feedback to improve products and customer experiences.
  • Understand and review the pricing strategy of all products, ensuring that margins and volumes meet business KPIs.
  • Create comprehensive product briefs for key stakeholders.
  • Act as the product escalation point in trading and sales environments and attend key meetings.
  • Work closely with trading, product support, contracting, sales, and marketing teams to ensure smooth handover of capacities and new products.
  • Present new products to the team and senior management, providing data and rate suggestions.
  • Maintain key documents, ensure deadlines are met, and manage the delivery of all products from start to end.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel abroad as required by the business.
  • Excellent knowledge of the cruise market and competitor strategies.
