Product Manager

Remote | 1-2 days per month in Hertfordshire or Central London | £35,000-£45,000

We're working with an AI-first startup building software for the construction sector, and they're looking for a Product Manager to join the team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a business at an exciting stage of growth, where you can have real influence on both the customer experience and the product itself.

The role is a mix of customer onboarding, product ownership and client-facing delivery. You'll help new customers get up and running on the platform, manage incoming product-related requests, and work closely with the internal team to shape improvements based on real user needs.

If you enjoy working closely with customers, solving problems, and helping shape a product in a fast-moving startup environment, this could be a strong fit.

The role

You'll be joining a business that is using AI to modernise and improve workflows in a traditional industry. As part of a small and growing team, you'll play a key role in making sure customers get value from the platform while also feeding directly into how the product evolves.

What you'll be doing

  • Onboarding new customers onto the platform and supporting adoption

  • Running discovery conversations to understand customer workflows and needs

  • Acting as a key link between customers and the internal product team

  • Managing client requests related to the platform, including feature suggestions, issues and usability feedback

  • Helping prioritise product improvements based on customer impact and business value

  • Working closely with internal stakeholders in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Supporting the development of onboarding materials, guides and best practice processes

  • Helping shape a product that is evolving quickly in an AI-first environment

What they're looking for

  • Experience in a Product Manager, Product Owner, Implementation, Customer Success or similar role within SaaS or software

  • Strong customer-facing communication skills

  • Experience gathering feedback or requirements and turning them into clear actions

  • Comfortable balancing customer needs with product priorities

  • Organised, proactive and confident managing multiple workstreams

  • Someone who enjoys working in a startup environment where things move quickly

Nice to have

  • Experience in B2B SaaS

  • Exposure to construction tech, workflow software, ERP, field-based software or other operational platforms

  • Experience onboarding customers onto software products

  • An interest in AI-led products and the way they can transform industries

Why join?

  • Opportunity to join an AI-first startup at a key stage of growth

  • Chance to work in a role with real variety across onboarding, product and customer delivery

  • High level of ownership and visibility

  • Remote working with occasional in-person collaboration

  • Salary of £35,000-£45,000
