Job Description
Overview 
A product integration solution architect designs the technical framework for integrating different software products and systems, acting as a bridge between business needs and technological solutions to create a cohesive, efficient, and scalable system.
They translate business requirements into technical blueprints, select appropriate technologies, manage data flow and mappings between systems, and oversee the integration process to ensure successful alignment with enterprise standards, performance, and security goals.
Responsibilities- Translating Business Needs: Analyze business pain points and requirements to create a technical vision that addresses them.
- Designing Integration Blueprints: Develop a high-level technical guide for how different software, hardware, and systems will communicate and share data to function as a unified whole.
- Technology Selection: Choose specific databases, architectural patterns, and technologies that best fit the project's needs and align with enterprise standards.
- Data Mapping and Flow: Determine data sources, flow direction, and create field-level mappings to translate and synchronize data between integrated platforms.
- Ensuring Scalability and Performance: Design architectures that can grow with the business and maintain high performance, security, and maintainability.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with business leaders, project managers, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure the solution is technically feasible and meets objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational and business risks associated with the integration project.
- Staying Current with Technology: Continuously learn and stay updated on emerging technologies to ensure the selection of best-in-class options.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of technology stacks, APIs, platform architectures, and integration patterns.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze existing environments and identify the best available technologies and software products for a solution.
- Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to analyze customer pain points and design effective technical solutions.
- Typically requires a background in software development, project management, or architecture, with several years of experience in integration projects.
