- Coordinate with technical, process, and quality teams to ensure component compatibility and compliance with client specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies for molds, parts, and processes, including tolerance analysis and SPC-based production capability assessments
- Design verification gauges and develop technical documentation (SCCAF, TGSS) to meet IATF 16949/VDA 6.3 standards.
- Optimize 3D-printed PP parts for prototyping and nesting efficiency
- Troubleshoot production issues during launch phases (deformations, injection defects) and implement corrective actions via CATIA V5 design modifications
- Lead root-cause analysis for quality deviations and coordinate solutions across tooling, calibration, and process teams
- Create 3D models and engineering drawings for interior trim systems, ensuring manufacturability and adherence to cost/weight targets 1
- Validate designs through virtual assemblies and physical prototypes, collaborating with suppliers and quality engineers
- Serve as the primary liaison between technical offices, production, and clients to align design intent with manufacturing realities
- Participate in design reviews and manage engineering changes during pre-series phases
- Proficient in CATIA V5, Teamcenter, and Moldflow for design, simulation, and documentation
- Maintain compliance with automotive standards through structured processes (FMEA, QFD) and material/tolerance specifications 1
Requirements:
