Are you a public sector procurement professional who thrives on delivering high quality frameworks, building trusted stakeholder relationships and making a real impact for customers?

Our client is looking for a Procurement Partner - Products to play a key role in the planning, delivery and ongoing management of procurement frameworks and dynamic purchasing models. This is a customer facing role where your expertise will help organisations achieve compliance, value for money and tangible savings.

What you'll be doing

In this role you'll take ownership of end to end procurement activity, working closely with internal teams, suppliers and customers. Your focus will be on delivering compliant, high quality products that are easy for customers to access and use.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering a pipeline of framework and dynamic model procurement from planning through to launch
  • Managing ongoing applications and performance reviews for frameworks and DPS/DMs
  • Coordinating tenders, evaluations, clarifications, award documentation and contracts
  • Ensuring compliance with public sector procurement legislation and best practice
  • Supporting the successful implementation, promotion and ongoing management of procurement products
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to improve specifications, tender documentation and customer outcomes
  • Building strong relationships with customers and suppliers, acting as a visible and solution focused procurement expert
  • Preparing case studies that demonstrate value, savings and delivery success
  • Using e-tendering platforms, CRM systems and reporting tools to manage and track activity

What we're looking for

We're keen to hear from candidates who bring strong public sector procurement experience and who enjoy working in a fast paced, customer centred environment.

Essential experience and knowledge:

  • Proven experience in public sector procurement
  • Strong knowledge of procurement legislation and regulations
  • Experience creating and managing frameworks and/or dynamic purchasing models

Desirable:

  • Working towards or holding CIPS qualification (Level 4 or above)
  • Experience within the housing or related sectors
  • Knowledge of additional public sector processes (e.g. S20)

  • Confident stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Professional, credible and solution focused approach
  • Comfortable using Microsoft tools, CRM systems and electronic tendering platforms
