Job Description
The RoleThis is a hands-on, commercially focused role where no two days are the same. You'll be working across a mix of goods and services, building supplier relationships, negotiating agreements, and supporting business-wide procurement activity.Day to day responsibilities include:
  • Manage sourcing and procurement activity across a range of indirect and subcontractor categories
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, driving performance and value
  • Support contract negotiation and ensure commercially favourable terms
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and process improvement
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure delivery against SLAs/KPIs
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of procurement processes within a growing function

  • 2-5 years' experience in procurement or buying
  • Experience across multiple categories, ideally in SME, manufacturing, or project-based environments
  • Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills
  • A hands-on, solutions-focused mindset
  • Confidence working with evolving processes and limited data
  • Subcontractor or third-party supplier management experience is advantageous
