We are now recruiting for a Procurement Manager - People Capability & Training to lead the development of our Procurement & Supply Chain (P&SC) capability strategy and deliver a world-class learning and development programme across the function.

Role Purpose This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of procurement and supply chain capability in a first-of-its-kind engineering programme. You'll be responsible for designing and delivering a comprehensive training and development framework that supports our Intelligent Customer model and ensures our people are suitably qualified and experienced (SQEP) - from apprentices to senior leaders.

You'll lead the creation of the P&SC Academy and Knowledge Model, working closely with central Talent, Recruitment, and Capability teams to deliver our strategic pillars: Invest, Strengthen, and Develop. You'll also act as a subject matter expert, providing coaching and mentoring to drive a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the P&SC Academy and curriculum to support career pathways and continuous learning.
  • Lead the design and delivery of apprenticeship and graduate programmes to build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Create and maintain a capability and training dashboard to monitor learning effectiveness and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with central teams to align with business-wide capability initiatives and support STEM outreach.
  • Champion continuous improvement and innovation in training delivery and content.
  • Promote a culture of professional development, inclusion, and high performance across the function.
What we're looking for We're looking for someone with a passion for people development and a strong background in procurement or supply chain. You'll bring:
  • MCIPS or IoSCM qualification (or equivalent).
  • 10+ years' experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering training and capability frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • A collaborative and forward-thinking mindset.
  • Understanding of nuclear regulatory requirements.
  • FCIPS or IoSCM Expert membership.
  • Associate membership of CIPD or the Learning and Performance Institute.

Pay and benefits We anticipate offering between £57,600 - £74,000DOE plus:-
  • Bonus - Performance related target opportunity 12.5%
  • Benefits Allowance - £2,200 per annum, enabling you to create a bespoke package
  • Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions.
  • Holidays - 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 4 days.
