As a Procurement Manager, you will provide the critical firepower needed to grow and optimise our range quickly. You will proactively own the execution of sourcing new SKUs, supplier benchmarking, and contract negotiations, setting up the products you own for commercial and operational success.

You will be joining the engine room of Bloom & Wild's fastest-growing categories, providing the operational and supply chain foundation for our non horticultural range.

Responsibilities
  • Source new SKUs and suppliers to rapidly scale our non horticultural gifting range.
  • Drive our margin ambitions by leading negotiations to deliver significant, measurable cost savings without sacrificing quality.
  • Develop key supplier relationships, setting the tone for long term strategic partnerships and managing their holistic performance.
  • Act as the key commercial partner to our Range team, helping them select the best products by providing market assessments and supplier benchmarks.
  • Negotiate, implement, and manage comprehensive commercial and operational contracts.
  • Manage supplier and SKU onboarding, ensuring all new partners and products are commercially vetted, and operationally ready for our supply chain.
  • Own responsibility of updating and engaging internal partners, ensuring a "no surprises" approach to range expansion.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience in a procurement or buying role in FMCG or retail.
  • Strong negotiator and relationship builder with commercial acumen to lead margin improving negotiations.
  • Can work with agility: understand broader business context and identify problems with requirements upfront to keep projects moving.
  • Self sufficient problem solver who learns quickly and avoids repeating mistakes.
  • Outcome driven and prioritises high impact wins.
  • Detail oriented onboarder with high bar for quality to ensure every SKU is operationally ready before it hits the warehouse.
  • Comfortable working in a high pace, sprint environment and managing time effectively during peak periods.
  • Strong collaborator bridging creative vision with operational reality.
Benefits
  • Flexible working & work from abroad.
  • 25 days holiday plus birthday and flexible bank holidays, with option to buy additional holiday each year.
  • Volunteering day each year.
  • Enhanced family leave and workplace nursery scheme.
  • Flexible training framework for every career stage.
  • Company product discounts across blooms & subscriptions.
  • Choice to take equity options from day 1.
  • ClassPass membership with monthly credits for fitness, yoga and more.

Please note this is an FTC role with end date April 2027.
