Job Description
About The Role

The Procurement Lead will take the strategic lead on the development and delivery of work plans and effective management of the Procurement of New Dimensions 2 (ND2), national capability uplift programme. By engaging with key internal and external stakeholders to align requirements with New Dimensions goals, the post holder will deliver fit for purpose contracts in a timely manner whilst always ensuring value for money.

Qualifications

Candidates must be members of CIPS and preferably hold an honours degree. They are expected to have experience in contract management and strong commercial awareness. Candidates will already possess a CIPS qualification; accreditation in transforming public procurement is desirable. Previous experience of procurement for fire service or blue light applications is also desirable, but not essential.

Contract & Location

This role is a Fixed Term Contract until the end of March 2028 due to funding and is based at Service Headquarters, Bridle Road, Bootle, L30 4YD.
