Job Description

Cedar is supporting a Public Sector client, based in London, who are looking to hire a Procurement Business Partner. This is a permanent job opportunity offering a salary up to £63,000 per annum plus a range of benefits. This role will be primarily remote, home based, with the expectation to be on-site 1-2 days per month for key meetings at the Head Offices in Central London.

Reporting into the Head of Commercial, the successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders internally and externally, ensuring procurement activity is compliant with the relevant regulations (PA23) and delivers value for money. Requirements will cover a range of Goods/Services for the businesses needs, with a spend over £200m per annum, and will require you to work with a range of internal stakeholders to deliver end to end procurement projects.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE:
  • strong background working in the UK Public Sector marketplace in a Procurement, Commercial or Category Management position
  • understanding of Public Sector Procurement Regulations (PCR2015 and PA23) - candidates ideally will have completed PA23 training
  • experience working as a 'Business Partner' with the ability to provide guidance/support to key stakeholders
  • track record delivering end to end procurement projects, ideally high value/complex, to ensure value for money and compliance
