Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering with an IT Managed Services company based in Dublin 12 to recruit for an experienced Sales Support & Procurement Executive. The role is full time and permanent with excellent opportunity for career progression.
The CompanyOur client is a well-established IT Managed Services company who have been in operation for nearly 20 years. Based in South Dublin, this role sits within the Sales Support & Procurement division and will be a client facing position.
The RoleThe Sales Support & Procurement Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement of goods and services for the business, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and strong supplier relationships. You will oversee purchasing processes, negotiate with vendors, and maintain supply chain standards in terms of quality, cost and delivery.
In addition, the role supports sales and customer operations, assisting with client engagement, onboarding, and internal coordination. This is a full time, office based role.
Procurement & Supply Chain- Take full ownership of the procurement lifecycle, from initial request through to delivery
- Negotiate with vendors on pricing, terms and delivery schedules
- Create, review and maintain accurate purchase orders and related documentation
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely restocking
- Track open quotes and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely responses
- Ensure all goods and services meet required quality and specification standards
- Document and maintain internal procurement and operational procedures
- Continuously review processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Assist in reviewing and renewing supplier and client contracts
- Support the preparation of quotes, proposals and client presentations
- Maintain a customer product and service matrix to identify upsell opportunities
- Schedule sales meetings, demos and client follow ups
- Assist with onboarding new clients and managing contract setup
- Handle incoming calls for sales and support in a professional manner
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email or chat, resolving or escalating as appropriate
- 2-3 years' experience in a similar procurement, sales support or operations role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Customer focused mindset with a genuine interest in helping clients
- Salary circa €40K depending on skills and experience
