Job Description
Process Engineer - 12 Month Contract 
Location: Birmingham / Hybrid Working
Contract: Outside IR35, £55 per hour
Job is for experienced process engineer across full project lifecycle. Experience from front end studies to commissioning, working in highly regulated industrial environments, safety compliant.

- Delivering front end engineering studies and process design activities
- Producing process calculations, mass balances and technical documentation
- Supporting HAZOPs and other process safety reviews
- Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Supporting commissioning and start up activities when required
- Ensuring designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Supporting process optimisation and continuous improvement activities
You will be joining a well established engineering business delivering complex projects within highly regulated industrial environments. The team works on technically demanding projects covering everything from early stage studies through to full delivery and commissioning.
What you'll need- Experience working as a Process Engineer within industrial or process environments
- Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle from FEED/concept through to commissioning
- Experience supporting or participating in HAZOP studies
- Experience producing process engineering documentation including PFDs and P&IDs
- Knowledge of process safety principles and engineering standards
- Ability to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
