Job Description

We are looking for a Process Engineer to support LU-VE Group. In your role you will report to the Plant Lean Process Manager and you will be part of Lean process Engineering Department. You will be based in LU-VE S.p.A, Alonte (VI), Italy.


Mission of the role


To improve the Plant productivity and competitiveness, through involving our people on Lean principles & methods implementation, and applying new technologies and automation starting from manufacturing processes.


You will be in charge of


  • Improving productivity and safety of existing production plants.
  • Design the layout of production departments.
  • Drafting technical specifications.
  • Collaborating with suppliers for the co-design of new plants and/or automatic machinery.
  • Managing external contractors for the execution of works.
  • Drafting the DUVRI, verifying the safety requirements of external companies involved in contracts.
  • Overseeing testing of plants and/or machinery and their subsequent commissioning.
  • Supporting the Corporate Lean Process Office in implementing industrial automation projects.
  • Implementing Kaizen projects.
  • Creating operating procedures for the use of machinery/plants.
  • Defining maintenance plans for machinery and plants.
  • Collaborating with the maintenance department to identify critical spare parts and identifying improvement and cost-saving opportunities.


Education & Experience we are looking for


  • High school diploma and/or degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment


Qualifications we are looking for


  • Proactivity, flexibility, and a willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and preferably 3D modeling (Inventor, SolidWorks)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Leadership: Project management and leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to train personnel and liaise across all organizational levels
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure processes are fully assessed and optimized
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business contexts and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of lean principles and methodologies is a plus
