Salary range: £42,912 - £47,925 per annum

Hours per week: 36

Vetting requirements: Basic DBS Check

About the Role

We are reshaping the regulation of the private rented sector across a portfolio of more than 30,000 homes. This entry level role focuses on assessing, validating and determining property licensing applications, supporting a dedicated team in meeting regulatory and customer expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Review and assess property licensing applications for compliance with statutory and council policy.
  • Validate applicant information and gather required evidence from residents, landlords and agents.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in the licensing system.
  • Work independently to manage workload, meet performance targets and prioritise tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and IT skills.
  • Organised, proactive and self driven with the ability to work independently.
  • Commitment to improving housing standards and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Experience or training in housing, property licensing or a related field is advantageous.
