Job Description
Overview

Senior Associate level role within the Private Equity practice, responsible for managing complex equity and M&A transactions for private equity houses, institutional investors and corporates across multiple sectors.

Position and Practice

Private Equity Senior Associate - London office, within the Corporate and Finance Practice Group covering private equity and corporate M&A.

Work Arrangement

35 hours per week; 9:30a.m. - 5:30p.m.; hybrid model allowing up to 40% remote work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate private equity transactions, reporting to the supervising partner.
  • Prepare, review and negotiate equity documents, including investment agreements and articles of association.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate delivery of matters.
  • Maintain project management and organisational standards to meet client deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Five to ten years post qualification experience (or equivalent).
  • Strong academic background and excellent written communication and drafting skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of legal principles related to private equity and corporate M&A.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to pressure.
  • Proactive in professional development, staying current with legal developments.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork and client facing abilities.
  • Financial awareness and cost effective work practices.
