A highly regarded Legal 500 firm in London is seeking a Private Equity Associate to join its established and growing private equity practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious associate to work on high quality, fast paced private equity transactions within a supportive firm offering flexibility, progression, and a competitive remuneration package.

The Role

From a recruitment perspective, this role offers exposure to a wide range of private equity matters, including:

• Advising private equity houses, institutional investors, and management teams on acquisitions, disposals, and investments
• Acting on management buyouts and buy ins, growth capital investments, and exits
• Drafting and negotiating share and asset purchase agreements, investment agreements, and shareholders' agreements
• Managing due diligence processes and coordinating multi disciplinary teams
• Supporting fund formation, structuring, and portfolio company matters
• Working closely with partners on complex, high value transactions
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in private equity and/or corporate transactional work
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and technical skills
• Commercially minded with excellent attention to detail
• Confident managing transactions and competing deadlines
• Ambitious and keen to develop within a leading London firm
