Private Equity Associate

H&P is working with an established Private Equity Growth and VC Firm focusing on mid-market technology investments across Europe and looking for a Dutch Associate to join its growing Amsterdam Team.

Role Overview:

• Source and identify potential investment opportunities.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment, for prospective deals.
• Assist in executing investments, including negotiations, term sheet structuring, and deal-closing processes.
• Support portfolio companies post-investment with strategic advice, operational assistance, and growth initiatives.
• Prepare investment memos and present opportunities to senior leadership while providing regular updates on portfolio performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record.
• Strictly 2-4 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, venture capital or mid-market private equity (excluding internships).
• Self-motivated, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Dutch, native or bilingual.
