Working Arrangements: Full Time Office Based
Role Description
I'm working with a successful Essex-based firm of Chartered Accountants, who are experiencing unprecedented growth and are looking to strengthen their Tax team.
Working closely with the Tax Director, you will manage a mixed portfolio of clients including HNW individuals, Directors, Self-Employed individuals, Subcontractors and Partnerships, providing both compliance and advisory support.

What you'll do
- Manage a mixed portfolio of clients including HNW individuals, Directors, Self-Employed, Subcontractors and Partnerships
- Prepare Personal Tax Returns and Self-Employed/Partnership accounts
- Support the Tax Director with ad hoc advisory projects
- Undertake Capital Gains Tax work, including 60-day property reporting
- Deal directly with HMRC and client queries
- Prepare P11D's
What you'll need
- At least 3 years' experience working within a busy tax department in UK practice
- Strong practical/technical knowledge of personal tax
- Experience in a client-facing role with confident communication skills
- Good IT skills and a proactive approach
