Private Client Solicitor

Eventus Legal are seeking a confident and passionate Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive with 3 years' PQE+ to join a highly reputable and very well established Private Client team based in central Derby, Derbyshire. This is a full time, permanent position with a leading regional law firm in the city centre of Derby. The new Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive will work closely with the Head of Department and take responsibility for a truly varied caseload of Private Client files which you will handle from first instruction through to completion.

This role is very client facing, so no two days are the same. You will be given every opportunity to meet clients face to face both in and outside of the office across Derby and the wider Derbyshire region.

Specific duties will include:

• Manage a caseload of Private Client files including Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), Trusts, Estate Administration and Tax
• Supervising and mentoring junior private client team members as and when necessary
• Adhering to strict SRA compliance and confidentiality regulations
• Providing clear and accurate advice to clients at all times
• Support with the on going business development of the private client department overall

Applications are sought from experienced Private Client Solicitors or Legal Executives across Derby, Derbyshire. You will bring a wealth of experience handling your own caseload of Wills, Probate and LPAs and have excellent attention to detail and technical understanding.

• Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years PQE
• Prior experience managing an autonomous Private Client caseload
• Experience managing and supervising fee earners, or the readiness to step into a supervisory role
• Be capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Full clean driving license
