Role

Working with the Partners and fee earners within the Private Client department, key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting fee earners working on a wide range of Private Client matters, ensuring all required documentation is in place.
• Managing own caseload, dealing with a variety of Private Client matters.
• Dealing with the administration of Trusts, including preparing annual trust accounts and corresponding with Trustees and Beneficiaries.
• Liaising with Stockbrokers in respect of Trust assets, making the appropriate distributions.
• Completing tax returns, including calculating the tax where necessary or liaising with accountants.
• Deal with the administration of Estates, whether under a Will or the rules of Intestacy.
• Taking instructions and drafting Wills to meet specific requirements, and where appropriate, providing inheritance Tax advice.
• Completing tax returns on behalf of clients.

Requirements

You will be a Private Client Solicitor with at least 3 years' experience.
