• Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (Depending on Experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join our Private Client Department. The successful candidate will assist our solicitors in providing comprehensive legal services to our clients, including but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist solicitors in providing expert legal advice and support to clients on a range of private client matters
• Draft and review legal documents with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Manage a diverse caseload efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met
• Liaise with clients, colleagues, and third parties in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and firm policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Paralegal in private client law is essential, and fee earning within this field, desirable.
• Proven experience in drafting Wills, LPAs, Declarations of Trust, and assisting with estate administration
• Strong knowledge of Court of Protection and deputyship matters
• Experience in contentious probate and trust administration is desirable
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively
• High level of professionalism and integrity
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
