Job Description

We are hiring for our client, a growing and ambitious financial services firm, seeking an experienced Private Client Director to join their senior team. This is a key hire and an excellent opportunity for a high-performing Private Client Director to take ownership of client relationships, drive strategic growth, and play a leadership role within the business.

The successful Private Client Director will manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients while leading on business development and delivering bespoke financial planning advice.

The Role:
  • Lead new business development activity and build a strong client pipeline
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of high-net-worth clients
  • Deliver tailored financial planning advice across investments, pensions, and wealth strategies
  • Build long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Oversee client portfolios and ensure ongoing performance and suitability
  • Provide strategic input into business growth and client strategy
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors
  • Ensure all advice meets regulatory and compliance standards
  • Represent the business at networking events and industry functions
  • Support and mentor junior team members
The Person:
  • 7+ years' experience in financial services
  • Strong experience in a client-facing advisory role
  • Proven track record in business development
  • CFP qualification (essential) and QFA qualified
  • Deep technical knowledge of financial planning and wealth management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Commercially driven with the ability to influence strategy
  • Experience working with high-net-worth clients
