Overview

Location: West Midlands
Rate: Hourly (Inside IR35)
Contract: 3-6 Months
Work Schedule: 4 days a week

We are working with a local authority client who is looking to appoint a Print & Post Administration Assistant to support their busy operations team. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone with strong administrative skills and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities
  • Sorting and opening incoming post
  • Scanning and indexing documents accurately
  • Operating envelope inserter machines to prepare outgoing mail
  • Franking post as required
  • Using large photocopiers and print finishing equipment (training provided)
  • Maintaining accurate records of volumes, processes, and outputs
  • General administration including use of Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and internal systems
  • Supporting a small team across a range of operational and administrative tasks
Requirements
  • Previous experience in administration or office-based roles
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to process high volumes of work accurately
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable handling physical tasks, including lifting and moving boxes
  • Able to work in a role that involves both standing and seated duties
  • Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Additional Information
  • This role requires flexibility to attend site in Stratford-upon-Avon when needed
